Turn insulated copper wire into separated copper granules with the Bluedog BDG-Compact Mini 1. Designed for electricians, home scrappers and smaller recycling operations, this compact granulator brings wire processing into your garage or workshop without requiring three-phase power.

Powered by a 4 HP chopper motor on 220V single-phase electricity, the Mini 1 chops wire into small particles, then uses controlled airflow and vibration to separate copper from plastic insulation. Its external, two-layer shaker table helps sort fine copper strands and larger granules, with separate discharge points for collecting the processed materials.

Independent controls let you adjust the blower and table vibration to suit the wire you’re processing. From stranded electrical wire to household wiring offcuts, the Mini 1 offers a practical alternative to stripping small wires individually. For consistent separation, process similar wire types together and adjust the settings as needed.
