BDG-8L Full Production Granulating System designed for recycling large quantities of scrap cables with purity levels of 99.9%.

Computer cable, wiring harnesses, etherenet cable,  massive clumps of wire, any type of wire which does not lend itself well to  a traditional wire stripper.

The BDG-8L features an output of 600 to 800 Lb/ hr.  Please note this is a total output per hr  and includes waste material so your copper recovery will be a percentage of this.

The chopper has D2 Blade material.  Which is a tool grade steel and is designed for maximan longevity. 

The BDG-8L also include a water cooling system to keep the blade cool while chopping material,  and it also includes on board conveyor system for consistent material flow.  

The BDG-8L features 9 Electric Motors with a power requirement of 480v x 3 PHASE  - 55 HP.  

The BDG-8L also features extra conveyors for secondary sorting opertations and it also includes a magnet to remove metal particles.

Very happy with our purchase

We run the granulator every day and it is performing flawlessly. We are averaging about 50,000 lbs/month. I adjusted the stationary knives up when we started having some purity issues. I moved the stationary knives instead of each individual knife as it was faster and seemed like it would accomplish the same thing. The company that buys our copper called this morning on an unrelated matter and I asked him about the quality of our product. He said that the other people in the area that sell granules use a water separator system and that we have the best product around. The purity is only improving each month and it started out good. I just thought I would pass that information on to you.<br /> <br />

Our Spanish operator is highly critical of new purchases, and he said the BWS-80 HD is "Muy Bueno!" The BWS-80 HD is easy to use, you can strip large cable and small cable fast and with little adjustment. We highly recommend it. Excellent Machine! The BWS-50 SAR is an awesome machine and strips really well, some insulations are a pain (old rubber) but for the thermoplastics, it could be better, 14 -10 AWG is tough to get the outer clear coat to split but no complaints here, bare bright pays good!
